After Sunday

Did you ever approach Sunday morning with a sense that God is about to do something...but He isn't telling you what it is? Bingo! My Sunday. It is bitter/sweet. Bitter because He didn't tell me in advance for me to prepare, think it through, really get ready for it... but sweet because I wasn't able to prepare, think it through, or get ready for it....because I probably would have reasoned it, planned it or thought it away.

God's ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. I know we quote this...but sometimes I forget this. We had several people make a commitment to Jesus for the first time. And the message was probably one of the best five that I have ever preached. This message may change the face of City Church. Thanks Lord... for knowing me better than I know myself and knowing what we need... and even knowing how to bring it so that we can't mess it up. You are a good Dad.
